Decorating Ideas for Travel Addicts: Postcard Wall Hanging

After stumbling upon on an Apartment Therapy post about how to decorate using ABC flashcards, I had an idea to do something similar using postcards and photos from my travels.  I’ve been wanting to find something to do with my postcard collection (other than framing or scrapbooking them) but I didn’t want to spend a lot of time or money.  Luckily, this project cost just five dollars and took only 10 minutes.

Supplies Needed:

1.  Metallic wire

2.  Nails

3.  Postcards or Photos

4.  Wooden clothespins (a pack cost under two dollars)

Note:  I also used fake plastic flowers for decoration but you could use  seashells or what about hanging globe ornaments?

More Ideas:

*  I love the idea of using an old bicycle wheel to hang up photos

*  The crafty nest offers instructions on how to make a hanging postcard collage
